I am a research assistant working with Fred Chang and John Vaughen in the Department of Cell and Tissue Biology at The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
I am interested in developing genetic and computational tools, and applying them to understand the biophysics of cells, especially in the microbiome and the brain.
Here is a Curriculum Vitae.
I completed my undergraduate studies at The University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada. I was previously an undergraduate thesis student in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, where I investigated bacterial morphogenesis and growth and developed tools to engineer undomesticated bacteria.
I love hiking and have been getting into rock climbing. I am also an avid music listener and especially love indie rock and west coast hip hop. Here is some music I have been listening to.
